Projects and preferred futures

There has been a number of potential projects developing within the association that look exciting and could prove to be very useful. I thought the first best move would be to make a list of them just to visualise the ideas, and then we can get an idea of where we are with these.

We have the wikipedia SFA page project which a number of people have already joined the group on this site, the next move I guess would be to arrange a date so that we can organise the day. This will involve working virtually as well as some meeting in person to work on the wikipedia page application (not easy but achievable).

Next we have the Mexico - UK link. Rebeca will soon be asking for interested parties to join the group on this site to support her move to develop SF practice in Mexico city, Rebeca will go into better detail at some point soon.

The next potential project is the development (or further development) of the SF map. All ideas and volunteers still welcome on this.

We now have the opportunity for the TEDx UKASFP, a mini TED event. We have people interested in this idea, we would need a small event team who are willing to either host the TEDx as part of their interest group or even find a venue, organise guest speakers and invite folk.

There are more projects lurking however, there's only a certain level of capacity ;-)

I will be asking for volunteers and ideas regularly, so please if you have just a little spare time, a great idea, a venue, a spare day here or there, feel free to join in!
